Set against the dramatic backdrop of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, the Fjällräven Discovery Bromo 2023 event took place from July 14th to 17th. In four days and three nights, participants experienced nature's beauty and their own achievements. The journey had exciting moments, like climbing King Kong Hill and enjoying the calm views of Savanna Tengger Caldera. And, of course, everyone stood by the tall Mount Bromo – 2,744 meters high – for incredible views. But this journey wasn't just about reaching the top. It was about finding yourself in nature. Teletubbies Hill and Lava View were not just picturesque spots; they were places to think, feel, and connect with the Earth.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is a masterpiece of nature's artistry. A place where the Tengger Sand Sea stretches as far as the eye can see, cradling within it the caldera of an ancient volcano from which new life has emerged in the form of four volcanic cones. This landscape, ever-changing and evolving, provides the backdrop for the 39.5-kilometer journey that awaits participants. The path may be challenging, but it mirrors life's journey – full of highs, lows, and moments of breathtaking beauty. Key Highlights to Cherish: Memories That Last During their incredible journey, participants created memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The nights were freezing cold, leaving a thin layer of ice on their tents that sparkled like stars. On the third day, they enjoyed Bakso, a delicious meatball soup, at the campsite—a comforting meal that warmed both their bodies and spirits, despite the chilly air

The experience was a mix of contrasts. The same cold nights turned into scorching mornings, and they found relief in cold drinks at the refreshment points. This shift in temperatures reminded them of nature's ever-changing beauty and rhythm.

The nights were a true spectacle. Clear skies revealed the Milky Way in all its glory, painting the sky with an abundance of stars. These nightly displays were a humbling reminder of the vast universe around them, making them feel connected to something larger than life.
